    General Questions:

    1. Why do you not provide grants to students who want to study outside of their home country?
As a general rule, we feel it’s best for a student to study in his/her home country. We don’t want to encourage people to leave their country to receive an education. Educational fees are usually less costly in a student’s home country; plus they have the opportunity to build a professional network and give back to their community.
    2. When can I apply for funding?
You should refer to the deadline dates listed on your country page.
    3. How do I reapply for a grant?
Review the Application Deadlines and Required Document pages before completing the Account Reactivation form.
    4. Who can help me with my application?
You should seek guidance from your country’s representative(s) listed on your country page.
    5. What is the best way to communicate with ABF?
You can communicate with one of our contacts listed on your country page or send an email with your name and question to africa.admin@albertbakerfund.org.

    Required Documents:

    6. What if my school is closed and I cannot get a document?
Contact your local representative listed on your country page.
    7. What if my school does not provide a required document?
Contact your local representative listed on your country page.

    Applying Online:
